Sales Representative / Residential Generator Sales Representative / Generator Sales Specialist to join a leading Power Generation organisation.
The successful Residential Generator Sales Representative will focus on selling
residential standby generator solutions to homeowners across the Boston area, working closely with electrical contractors throughout the sales and installation process.
This is a high-volume, high-earning territory, valued at approximately $250,000 per month, offering genuine uncapped commission and clear progression.

Responsibilities
- Sell residential standby generator systems to homeowners across Boston
- Generate new business through inbound leads, referrals, and proactive outreach
- Conduct on-site assessments and customer consultations
- Work closely with electrical contractors from proposal through installation
- Prepare and present accurate quotes and proposals
- Manage projects through install alongside internal teams
- Maintain CRM records and manage a strong, active sales pipeline
- Identify high-margin, non-bid residential opportunities
- Represent the business locally within the Boston residential market
Requirements
- Previous experience in a customer-facing sales or technical sales role, such as Sales Representative, Generator Sales Specialist, Sales Engineer, Sales Executive, Account Manager, Territory Sales Manager, Inside Sales, Applications Engineer, Electrical Engineer, HVAC Sales Consultant, or similar.
- Experience in generator sales, HVAC, or electrical contracting environments
- Backgrounds from Cummins, Generac, Briggs & Stratton, or similar preferred
- Residential or home-focused sales experience
- Consultative selling approach with homeowners
- Basic to intermediate technical understanding of generators or electrical systems
- Self-motivated, organised, and target-driven
