Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / CNC Sales Engineer required for a global leading engineering manufacturer.

 

The successful Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / CNC Sales Engineer will work remotely and be responsible for new business development and key account management across Scotland selling CNC products and equipment used for CNC machining including cutting tools, shrink-fit machines, balancing machines, tool pre-setters, tool holders, work holding solutions, and end mills.

 

The Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / CNC Sales Engineer must have a technical background in CNC, CNC machining, cutting tools or machine tools and have good access to locations in the Central Belt such as Glasgow, Edinburgh, Falkirk, Livingston, Stirling, Dunfermline.

Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Key Account Manager Role

  • Business development and key account management across Scotland, selling precision equipment and accessories used in CNC machining including cutting tools, shrink-fit machines, balancing machines, tool pre-setters, tool holders, work holding solutions, and end mills.
  • Assist with the installation of CNC products and precision equipment at customer sites.
  • Manage and grow existing client relationships to drive CNC tooling sales.
  • Liaise with various engineering departments.
  • Fully remote position covering Scotland.

 

Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Key Account Manager Requirements

  • Experience as a Sales Engineer, Key Account Manager, Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Technical Sales Engineer, Sales Representative, or similar within Precision engineering and CNC.
  • CNC machinists, setters, or operators seeking to move into a sales role will also be considered.
  • Must have a technical background in CNC, CNC machining, cutting tools or machine tools.
  • A technical mechanical engineering or manufacturing qualification, apprenticeship, HNC, HND, or degree would be advantageous.
  • Full clean driving licence and willingness to meet clients across Scotland, focusing on the Central Belt such as Glasgow, Edinburgh, Falkirk, Livingston, Stirling, Dunfermline.
