
Business Development Manager / Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Representative required for a leading global filtration manufacturer.
The successful Business Development Manager / Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Representative will be responsible for developing new business opportunities across a range of industries, promoting filtration products including cartridge filters, housings, and bespoke filtration solutions.
The successful Business Development Manager / Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Representative will ideally have experience in filtration, engineering, or process equipment sales, with a hunter mentality and a proven ability to win new business.

Business Development Manager / Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Representative Role
- Promote and sell a full range of filtration products, including cartridge filters, housings, and bespoke filtration systems.
- Drive new business development across industries such as oil & gas, petrochemical, food & beverage, pharmaceutical, water treatment, or similar.
- Work as part of the business development team, reporting directly to the Sales Manager.
- Build relationships with EPCs, OEMs, distributors, and end-users to identify and secure new business.
- Home-based with regular travel across the UK and occasional international visits.
Business Development Manager / Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Representative Responsibilities
- Experience as a Sales Engineer, Area Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, Business Development Executive, Key Account Manager, Technical Sales Engineer, Internal Sales Engineer, or similar, ideally within the filtration or fluid handling industry.
- Experience selling filtration or fluid handling products such as cartridge filters, process filters, bespoke filtration systems, or similar.
- Proactive, hunter mentality with the drive to identify and close new opportunities.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with both distributors and direct clients.
- HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering would be a strong advantage, but not essential.
- Willingness to operate remotely with occasional international travel.
- Full UK driving license.
