Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Outside Sales Manager – Industrial Pumps
A leading manufacturer and distributor of industrial Pumps is seeking a Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Outside Sales Manager to cover South Houston and surrounding areas, including Southwest Houston, Sugar Land, Bay City, and Victoria, TX.
The ideal candidate will come from a mechanical sales background or have proven experience selling Pump Systems such as Submersible, Two Stage Pumps, Vertical Pumps, Centrifugal Pumps, Progressive Cavity Pumps, or similar fluid-handling equipment.
This is a client-facing role with responsibility for managing existing accounts, developing new business, and supporting customers across industries including food & beverage, pharmaceutical, chemical, oil & gas, and general manufacturing. Occasional overnight travel may be required.

Role – Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Outside Sales Manager
- Covering South Houston and surrounding areas (Southwest Houston, Sugar Land, Bay City, and Victoria, TX), managing and developing an existing client base while securing new profitable business.
- Selling a wide range of Pump Systems (Submersible, Two Stage Pumps, Vertical Pumps, Centrifugal Pumps, Progressive Cavity Pumps, etc.).
- Identifying and developing new market opportunities.
- Liaising with internal/external sales teams and engineering departments.
- Serving customers across industries such as food & beverage, healthcare, power, chemical, and oil & gas.
- Selling valves, controls, and related products to contractors, OEMs, end-users, and distributors.
- Regional travel required with occasional overnight stays.
Requirements – Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Outside Sales Manager
Proven background in sales roles such as Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Engineer, or Outside Sales Manager.
- Experience selling Pump Systems (Submersible, Two Stage Pumps, Vertical Pumps, Centrifugal Pumps, Progressive Cavity Pumps, etc.).
- Knowledge of steam systems is highly desirable.
- Engineering qualification preferred but not essential.
- Strong external sales experience within industries such as food & beverage, healthcare, power, chemical, or oil & gas.
- Must be located in South Houston or surrounding areas (Southwest Houston, Sugar Land, Bay City, Victoria, TX).
