Sales Administrator / Engineering Administrator / Administrator required to join a leading engineering manufacturer of automation products based in Chesire.

Sales Administrator / Engineering Administrator / Administrator will be responsible for the administration, quotations, quality and purchasing costs plus technical support to the sales and service teams where required.

The successful Sales Administrator / Engineering Administrator / Administrator will ideally come from an engineering company, liaising with customers and sales engineers, and monitoring the sales process throughout the transaction.

This role would be ideal for someone looking to grow and develop with a well-renowned automation manufacturer, known for their progression.

Sales Administrator / Engineering Administrator / Administrator Responsibilities.

Will be responsible for the administration, quotations, quality and purchasing costs plus technical support to the sales and service teams where required.

Support with order tracking, ensuring that customers are kept up to date with order updates and coordinating times accordingly.

Looking after automation products such as Sensors, HMI, Industrial networking equipment, Power supplies, RFID

Deal and create quotations for Sensors and industrial automation products.

Place purchase orders and process customer orders and returns.

Liaise with various stakeholders inside and outside of the business.

 

Sales Administrator / Engineering Administrator / Administrator Requirements

Previous experience as an Engineering Administrator, Inventory Control Administrator, Customer Service Support, Internal Sales Executive, Sales Administrator, Engineering Administrator, Sales Support Administrator or similar position is essential.

An interest in automation products such as Sensors, HMI, Industrial networking equipment, Power supplies, RFID

Experience being customer-facing and liaising with people inside and outside of the business.

Strong IT capabilities: SAP R3, Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PP, Outlook) and basic CRM skills Training on the CRM will be provided.

Ability to think on your feet and problem solve.

Experience with general customer service, e.g complaint handling, communicating nationally general admin responsibilities.

A degree in business or relevant qualifications in sales would be beneficial.

Efficient communication skills throughout multiple platforms such as teams, email and over the telephone.

Ensure a flexible approach is taken to a busy working environment.

Previous experience working in an engineering/manufacturing environment would be desirable, but not essential.

Commutable to Cheshire.
