Senior Architectural Designer

Southampton

Up to £45,000 p/annum

 

Introduction:

A fantastic opportunity is immediately available for an experienced and passionate Senior Architectural Designer to join a well-established Architectural studio in Southampton. With an extensive history of delivering award-winning Residential led schemes, our client are going through a huge period of growth and an influx of new work in the Residential sector. Office Hours: 9:00 am – 5:30 pm

 

Duties:

  • Lead and design residential developments/layouts across various scales, from feasibility layouts to planning applications, ensuring they align with the client brief
  • Demonstrate strong experience in residential layout design and architectural skills for outline and RM applications
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior technicians, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment within our Southampton team
  • Manage and deliver multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to strict timelines and budgets set by our clients and stakeholders
  • Collaborate effectively with stakeholders and team members, communicating project objectives and progress clearly
  • Utilize Revit and AutoCad proficiently to deliver drawings
  • Stay updated on the latest legislations and industry trends to ensure best practices are upheld

 

Requirements:

  • Degree Qualified in Architecture or similar field (or equivalent qualification)
  • Strong experience in large-scale Residential housing developments in the UK
  • A keen interest in both urban design and architecture, with a focus on creating impactful residential spaces
  • Familiarity with producing associated documents, including Design Access Statements, for large-scale Residential projects
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in both Revit and AutoCAD is essential
  • A high-quality portfolio of previous work – specifically Residential projects
