The Electrical Engineer / Senior Electrical Engineer / Engineer is responsible for the design of low and medium voltage power systems.

The Electrical Engineer / Senior Electrical Engineer / Engineer will have a proven background in Power generation and Power conversion, dealing with the distribution, and utilization of electric power, and the electrical apparatus connected to such systems.

 

It would be beneficial for the Electrical Engineer to have experience with system integrators from a relevant industry such as industrial automation. 

You will also have experience in low and medium voltage power systems design in marine and energy projects.

Electrical Engineer Duties

  • Develop the process of converting electric energy from one form to another, electrical systems for electrical power applications such as control panels, control stations, LV switchgear, MV switchgear, transformers, and generators.
  • Requirements and functional specifications for bought-out systems and components such as motors, drives, switchboards, transformers, energy storage, and cabling.
  • Understanding and capturing client Requirements 
  • Working with Electrical Concept Design & Definition
  • The Electrical Engineer will be in co-operation with the Hardware Design team and review of detailed designs produced.
  • Responsible for the Design and engineering of low-voltage systems

 

 Electrical Engineer Requirements

  • The Electrical Engineer will have a proven background in power generation / power conversion.
  • Experience as an Electrical Engineer
  • Previous experience with low and medium voltage power systems in power generation / power conversion
  • A proven background within power generation.
  • A qualification in Electrical Engineering a degree in in Electrical Engineering / Masters in Power Electronics is Preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years in a similar role
