Senior Interior Designer

 

Location:             Flatiron District, New York
Salary:                 
$110,000 – $125,000 + Bonus

 


A well-established, design-led studio is looking for a Senior Interior Designer to lead the creative direction of high-profile workplace and corporate interior projects.

This role is ideal for a confident designer who enjoys owning projects from concept through delivery. You’ll shape the creative vision, guide design teams, and work directly with clients to translate ideas into thoughtful, functional environments.

You’ll be involved in everything from early-stage visioning and mood boards through to FF&E selection and design documentation. Along the way, you’ll lead junior designers, collaborate with consultants, and ensure projects are delivered with both creativity and technical precision.

Package:

  • Salary: $110,000 – $125,000 + Bonus (Commensurate with Experience)

Office: Flatiron District, New York
Hours:
Full-time, 8:30am – 5:30pm, Monday – Friday (Hybrid)

 

Duties:

  • Lead conceptual design including mood boards, spatial layouts, and design direction
  • Guide Intermediate and Junior Designers across multiple projects
  • Select FF&E and manage associated budgets
  • Participate in programming, visioning, and site assessments
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, and vendors
  • Oversee millwork detailing, specifications, and shop drawing reviews

 

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design
• 10+ years’ experience in corporate or workplace interior design
• Strong leadership experience managing design teams
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience producing design development and construction documentation
• Excellent presentation, communication, and client management skills
