Are you a hospitality designer who loves running projects from first sketch to final walk-through?
A boutique, multidisciplinary design studio in Brooklyn is looking for a Senior Designer / Project Manager to lead compelling hospitality, F&B, and retail interior projects — both domestic and international.
This is a hands-on leadership role. You'll own projects from concept through construction, working with a tight-knit, internationally diverse creative team on work that spans luxury hotels, restaurants, branded environments, and residential interiors.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading projects end-to-end: concept development, space planning, FF&E specification, purchasing, construction documentation, and CA
- Managing client relationships, vendor coordination, and subcontractor communication
- Guiding design teams through schematic design to CD sets
- Balancing the big picture vision with the fine details — across design, schedule, and budget
What We're Looking For
- Architecture degree
- 5-8+ years in interior design with a strong hospitality portfolio (hotels, restaurants, bars)
- 2-3+ years of project management experience including construction administration on completed projects
- Experience producing full documentation sets from SD through CD
- Skilled in AutoCAD, SketchUp or Rhino (or 3ds Max), InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
- Retail and multi-unit residential experience is a bonus
- A self-starter who thrives on multitasking and takes ownership
- Japanese language skills are a plus but not required
