Senior Project Architect — Shape Landmark Interiors in Manhattan
Location: Manhattan, NY (Hybrid)
Salary: $120,000 – $160,000 + The studio offers strong health & dental insurance, retirement plan options, and a flexible work schedule plus a location that’s quick commute from Brooklyn or New Jersey.
The Role
This is an exciting Senior Project Architect opportunity with a design-led Manhattan studio delivering high-profile workplace and commercial interiors. You’ll lead architecture projects end-to-end, mentor junior staff, and play a visible role with clients on interiors work that influences how New York looks and feels.
What You’ll Do
- Architect to lead interiors projects from concept through construction
- Oversee drawing sets and technical documentation (AutoCAD + Revit)
- Coordinate consultants, architecture professionals, contractors, and landlords, ensuring DOB code compliance
- Represent the studio in client meetings, presentations, and contract administration
- Mentor junior team members and raise standards in interiors delivery
What We’re Looking For
- 10+ years of architecture experience in corporate, workplace, or commercial interiors
- Strong knowledge of NYC building codes, DOB permitting & compliance
- Advanced AutoCAD architecture skills; Revit preferred
- Proven experience managing technical workflows & multi-stakeholder coordination
- Excellent communication skills and confident client presence
