Service Engineer / Field Service Engineer / Maintenance Engineer required for a global manufacturer of packaging machinery
The Successful Service Engineer / Field Service Engineer / Maintenance Engineer will provide electrical and mechanical repair, service, and maintenance on packaging machinery, strapping machines, stretch wrappers, conveyor systems, and other electromechanical products across the UK.
This is a field-based role requiring regular travel throughout the UK and Ireland although ideally you will live within the West Midlands.
Service Engineer / Field Service Engineer / Maintenance Engineer Package:
- £35,000-£40,000 dependent on experience

Service Engineer / Field Service Engineer / Maintenance Engineer Responsibilities:
- Carrying out preventative maintenance to minimise downtime and optimise machine performance
- Diagnosing faults, completing repairs, and ensuring equipment operates efficiently and safely
- Consistently delivering excellent customer service and maintaining strong working relationships with customers
- Producing service reports, documenting work completed, findings, and any recommended follow-up actions
- Communicating effectively with the service planning team to ensure accurate job records and smooth scheduling
Service Engineer / Field Service Engineer / Maintenance Engineer Requirements:
- Proven experience within a similar role
- Recognised qualification in electrical and / or mechanical engineering
- Prior experience servicing, repairing or maintaining electromechanical equipment is advantageous however full product training will be provided
- Willingness to travel and commute across the UK – although predominantly based in the Midlands
