Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Electromechanical Engineer required to join a global manufacturer of electromechanical / automation machinery.

 

The Successful Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Electromechanical will provide electromechanical repair, service and maintenance on a wide range of equipment.

 

The Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Electromechanical Engineer will ideally have an electromechanical service background, with any pneumatic or calibration experience desired.

Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Electromechanical Engineer Role

  • Provide electromechanical repair, service and maintenance on a wide range of equipment.
  • The Service Engineer will also provide service on pneumatic equipment as well as calibration on automated / electromechanical machinery.
  • Installing industrial automated and electromechanical machinery into all forms of the manufacturing industry.
  • Perform emergency breakdown fault finding and repairs on various electromechanical and automated machinery / equipment.
  • Liaise with various engineering departments.

 

 

Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Electromechanical Engineer Requirements

  • Will ideally have an electromechanical service background, with any pneumatic or calibration experience desired.
  • Will ideally hold an Engineering Qualification of at least a Level 3 NVQ.
  • 18th edition wiring regulations and electrical fault-finding experience advantageous.
  • Experience as a Field Service Engineer, Service Engineer, Service Technician, Hydraulic Engineer, Mobile Engineer, Mechanical Fitter, Workshop Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Installation Engineer, Pump Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, or similar.
  • The ability in maintaining good professional working relationships with existing and new customers.
  • Willingness to commute to Poole and visit customer sites UK wide.
