Senior Service Technician / Compressor Service Engineer / Field Service Technician required to join a leading distributor and service provider of industrial compressed air equipment.
The Senior Service Technician / Compressor Service Engineer / Field Service Technician will have strong experience working on a range of compressed air equipment such as rotary screw compressors, oil-free compressors, reciprocating compressors, air dryers, filtration systems, vacuum pumps, and related compressed air equipment. Experience working with Atlas Copco compressors or similar OEM equipment would be advantageous.
The Senior Service Technician / Compressor Service Engineer / Field Service Technician will be based in St. Louis, MO, covering the local service region and supporting a wide range of industries including manufacturing, food & beverage, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and general industrial facilities.

Senior Service Technician / Compressor Service Engineer / Field Service Technician Role
Covering St. Louis, MO and surrounding areas (approximately 40-mile radius) carrying out service, maintenance, and repair of industrial compressed air systems.
Provide electrical and mechanical fault finding, repair, and preventative maintenance on rotary screw compressors, oil-free compressors, reciprocating compressors, dryers, filtration systems, and related compressed air equipment.
Act as a working supervisor, supporting and mentoring junior technicians and providing technical guidance when required.
Handle more advanced service work and complex customer sites, supporting technicians with troubleshooting and diagnostics.
Assist with training new service technicians and providing technical support across the service team.
Travel to customer sites across the St. Louis area, with minimal overnight travel.
Work closely with internal teams, parts departments, and management to ensure efficient service delivery and strong customer satisfaction.
Senior Service Technician / Compressor Service Engineer / Field Service Technician Requirements
Experience as a Field Service Technician / Service Engineer / Compressor Technician / Air Compressor Engineer / Maintenance Technician / Rotating Equipment Technician.
Strong technical knowledge of compressed air systems including rotary screw compressors, oil-free compressors, reciprocating compressors, air dryers, and filtration systems.
Experience working on industrial rotating equipment or compressed air systems.
Minimum 3–5 years’ experience servicing air compressors or compressed air equipment.
Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues within compressed air systems.
Strong customer service skills with a professional approach when working on client sites.
Must be located in or near St. Louis, MO.
