Service Technician / Service Engineer
Cranes – Offshore Cranes / Marine Cranes
Package circa £50,000 - 65,000 (Salary + Day Rate)
We are working with an Engineering Service business who are recruiting for a Service Technician / Service Engineer to work on projects globally. You will be rewarded with a basic salary, day rate, and retention bonus.
You will have a background in Electrical engineering or Hydraulic engineering, and be experienced working on offshore cranes or marine cranes
Package:
Package of circa £60,000.
c. £25,000 – 30,000 basic salary + Day Rate
Bonus
31 days holiday including bank holidays

Service Technician / Service Engineer Responsibilities:
Carry out the commissioning, maintenance, inspection, and servicing of client cranes and lifting equipment, onshore and offshore.
Carry out repairs and inspections on a range of electrical equipment and systems.
Carry out fault finding and repairs of hydraulic and mechanical equipment and systems.
Rigging and lift planning
Produce reports.
Service Technician / Service Engineer Requirements:
- Must have multi-discipline or Crane OEM commissioning engineer background
- Minimum 5 years of experience working with Offshore, Ports and Marine cranes
- BOSIET
- Able to work alone if required.
- A Rigging ticket will be advantageous
- Ability to read engineering drawings
