A Graduate Test Engineer / Graduate Engineer / Trainee Test Engineer / Graduate Electrical Engineer / Test Engineer is required for a manufacturer in Liverpool.

The Graduate Test Engineer / Graduate Engineer / Trainee Test Engineer / Graduate Electrical Engineer / Test Engineer will be responsible for assisting senior engineers planning, execution, data capture and analysis of test programmes for electrical products.

The successful candidate will hold a degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or a closely related discipline.

Responsibilities for Graduate Test Engineer / Graduate Engineer / Trainee Test Engineer / Graduate Electrical Engineer / Test Engineer

  • Assist in setting up, executing and documenting test procedures for electrical filters and capacitor products, including functional, environmental, reliability and qualification tests.
  • Work with senior engineers to plan test programmes, define measurement points, review test methods and identify failures or deviations.
  • Use test equipment and logging tools to capture data.
  • Analyse test data, identify trends and non‑conformances, present findings to engineering team.
  • Support calibration, maintenance and verification of test equipment.

Requirements for Graduate Test Engineer / Graduate Engineer / Trainee Test Engineer / Graduate Electrical Engineer / Test Engineer

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or a closely related discipline.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable preparing reports and communicating test results.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and disciplined approach to documentation and procedures.
  • Live in or within a commutable distance to Liverpool
