Applications Engineer / CNC Applications Engineer / Controls Engineer required to support customers across Indiana. This role is office-based with occasional travel, providing hands-on technical support for CNC grinding machines and Fanuc controls.

Applications Engineer Role

Provide technical support on Fanuc controls, alarms, software updates, and troubleshooting.

Support grinding applications (ID/OD, stainless grinding) with hands-on technical expertise.

Assist customers remotely and on-site with modem support, updates, and system integration.

Apply knowledge of macro programming, ladder logic, and software viewers to diagnose and solve issues.

Work closely with customers to provide immediate solutions and reduce downtime.

Collaborate with engineering and service teams to deliver best-in-class technical support.Applications Engineer Requirements

Strong hands-on knowledge of Fanuc controls.

Experience in grinding (ID/OD, stainless) and related CNC applications.

Practical expertise in alarms, troubleshooting, software updates, and modem support.

Engineering degree not required – practical experience and technical ability are essential.

Based in Indiana, with flexibility to travel (up to 1 week per month).
