Location: East Coast, US (NY, PA, NJ, MA, CT, VA, NC preferred)
Base Salary: $80,000 - $100,000

A leading manufacturer of high-precision tooling solutions supporting CNC machining and advanced manufacturing environments is seeking a Field Service Engineer / Field Service Technician to support distributors and end users across the East Coast, United States.
We welcome applicants with prior field service experience within CNC, tooling, or machine tool environments, as well as candidates from hands-on technical roles in manufacturing or engineering who are looking to move into a customer-facing field service position involving travel and increased technical responsibility.

Field Service Engineer / Field Service Technician Responsibilities:
• Provide technical support across a range of high-precision tooling products and machining accessories to distributors and end users across the East Coast.
• Plan and deliver hands-on training sessions for sales teams, distributors, and end users.
• Perform on-site installation, setup, and commissioning of equipment.
• Provide high-level customer support, including troubleshooting and responding to technical inquiries via phone and on-site.
• Maintain accurate service records in CRM systems and support trade shows, demonstrations, and customer-facing events.
Field Service Engineer / Field Service Technician Requirements:
• Proven experience in a field service, applications, or technical support role within CNC machining, tooling, or machine tool environments is preferred.
• Strong understanding of CNC equipment, tooling systems, and machining processes, including setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Willingness to travel regularly to customer sites for installation, training, and technical support.
• Ability to train customers and deliver technical presentations confidently.
• A degree in an engineering discipline is advantageous but not required.
