Architectural Technologist / Technician

 

Location:            Southwark, Central London
Salary:                £35,000 – £42,000 (Commensurate with Experience)

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a highly collaborative, technically focused team who care deeply about design integrity and technical excellence. The studio continues to grow and has recently achieved several major project milestones across London, contributing meaningfully to the city’s regeneration story.

This opportunity would be ideal for an Architectural Technologist or Technician with proven experience working on residential or mixed-use projects in the UK and who is confident using Revit to deliver complex, large-scale developments.

 

Package:

  • £35,000 – £42,000 (depending on experience)
  • Hybrid working

Office: Southwark, Central London

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm (hybrid flexibility available)

 

Duties:

  • Produce detailed and coordinated technical drawing packages in Revit across RIBA Stages 3–5
  • Work collaboratively within project teams on large-scale residential and mixed-use schemes
  • Assist with BIM coordination, ensuring consistency and accuracy across live models
  • Prepare technical details, schedules, and specifications for tender and construction
  • Liaise with consultants, contractors and suppliers to resolve design and build queries
  • Ensure all project documentation complies with UK Building Regulations and best practice standards

 

Requirements:

  • Degree qualified Architectural Technologist or Technician (CIAT membership or working towards it desirable)
  • Strong proficiency in Revit (essential)
  • Demonstrable experience working on residential or mixed-use projects in the UK
  • Excellent understanding of UK Building Regulations, technical detailing, and construction methods
  • Confident communicator and team player with strong coordination skills
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering high-quality, sustainable architecture
