Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Technical Sales Engineer required to join a leading provider of mechanical engineering products and services.

The successful Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Technical Sales Engineer will focus on developing new business opportunities, managing key accounts and providing technical expertise of engineering products and services to the water industry, with a municipal focus, across the Midlands.

The successful Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Technical Sales Engineer will ideally have experience selling or managing key accounts of engineering product and or service within the water industry i.e. waste water, water treatment, water authorities. Full product training provided.

Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Technical Sales Engineer Role

  • Will focus on developing new business opportunities, managing key accounts and providing technical expertise of engineering products and services to the water industry, with a municipal focus.
  • Maintaining mechanical engineering product sales with demonstration, exhibition, and negotiation to achieve targets.
  • Will provide technical expertise of products within the water industry and be involved in the sales process from enquiry through to project closure.
  • Work remotely / field based with regular visits to customer sites throughout the Midlands.
  • Liaise with various engineering departments.

Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Technical Sales Engineer Requirements

  • Experience as a Key Account Manager, Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Engineer or similar within mechanical engineering.
  • Will ideally have experience selling or managing key accounts of mechanical / industrial products, ideally within the water industry, i.e. water treatment, wastewater, water authorities. Full product training provided.
  • Candidates with experience within the municipal sector, selling products or services are highly encouraged to apply.
  • Full clean driving license.
  • Willingness to operate remotely with travel to customer sites throughout the Midlands.
