CNC Field Service Engineer / Field Service Engineer

Location: Southern States of the US (Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana)
Base Salary: $80,000 - $130,000 depending on experience
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Description

A leading manufacturer of high-precision CNC machine tools supporting the metal cutting industry and advanced manufacturing environments is seeking a CNC Field Service Engineer / Field Service Engineer to support distributors and end users across the Southern States of the US.

CNC Field Service Engineer / Field Service Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Travel throughout the Southern US to set up, service, and optimize a variety of CNC machine tools, including both 3-axis and 5-axis machining centers and CNC lathes.
  • Manage on-site service activities by performing installations, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure maximum machine uptime.
  • Investigate technical issues using detailed analysis, implement corrective actions, and communicate solutions and recommendations to the team.
  • Collaborate with customers and internal teams to enhance machine performance, reduce recurring problems, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

CNC Field Service Engineer / Field Service Engineer Requirements:

  • Degree in an engineering discipline or machine tool technology is advantageous; however, we also welcome applications from candidates with relevant hands-on experience.
  • Prior experience as a Field Service Engineer working with machine tools or similar CNC equipment.
  • Strong understanding of CNC control systems, Fanuc or Siemens are preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively across the Southern US to support distributors and end users.
