HSE Manager / Safety Manager / Health and Safety Manager required to join a global engineering manufacturer based near Bradford.
The successful candidate will lead and develop Health, Safety & Environmental standards across a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ensuring full compliance with UK regulations and relevant international standards including ISO 14001, ISO45001 and OSHA- aligned practices, while driving continuous improvement in engineering safety performance.
This is a key leadership role within the site, responsible for embedding a proactive safety culture and working closely with engineering and operational teams to enhance overall plant performance.

HSE Manager Role:
- Lead and deliver Health, Safety & Environmental strategy across all manufacturing operations in line with UK legislation and international standards such as ISO14001 and ISO45001
- Drive continuous improvement in HSE performance by monitoring KPI’s, conducting audits, and reporting recommendations to senior management and site leadership
- Develop and deliver training programmes to ensure all employees are fully compliant with health, safety and environmental procedures.
- Work closely with engineering, production, and maintenance teams to ensure HSE best practices are embedded across all activities
- Support incident investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective action implement
- Based at the Bradford manufacturing facility with regular travel to other facilities throughout the UK.
HSE Manager Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Health & Safety Manager, HSE Manager, Safety Manager, QSHE Manager, SHEQ Manager, or similar within a manufacturing or industrial engineering environment
- Strong background in leading Health, Safety & Environmental systems in line with UK regulations and standards such as ISO14001 and ISO45001 (OSHA knowledge advantageous)
- Experience in fast-paced engineering or manufacturing sectors such as sealing, filtration, oil & gas, automotive, aerospace or similar
- Relevant HSE Qualifications NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent
- Full UK driving licence required
