A Project Executive is required to join an industry leader in Union City, CA.

 

The successful Project Executive will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of mechanical (HVAC) projects from pre-construction to completion, ensuring client satisfaction, and maintaining strong relationships. This role requires a balance of selling, managing, and leading a project team to deliver high-quality, on-time projects while fostering long-term client partnerships.

Project Executive Responsibilities:

 

  • Sell and Oversee Mechanical Projects: Lead a book of mechanical (HVAC) work, overseeing pre-construction, project management, and field teams.
  • Leadership & Accountability: Lead the team responsible for your projects, ensuring proper execution from start to finish, and take full accountability for the work.
  • Client Development: Develop and execute marketing plans to attract new clients and support existing relationships.
  • Team Management: Hire, fire, and promote team members as necessary to ensure project success, with input from WAM leadership.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with WAM’s project managers, sales team, engineering, detailing, and other departments to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Maximize ROI: Ensure projects deliver a high return on investment while maintaining strong client relationships.

 

Project Executive Requirements:

 

  • 12+ years of experience in construction project management, with a proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, construction management, or a related field.
  • Strong experience with design-build projects, particularly in the mechanical construction and life sciences sectors.
  • Problem-solving skills: Ability to manage multiple projects, make tough decisions, and troubleshoot effectively.
  • Proficient in MS Office and able to learn and use construction software platforms (experience with Procore, Bluebeam, etc. is a plus).
  • Must reside in The Bay Area, CA
