A Plumbing Project Manager / Plumbing Project Lead / HVAC Project Manager is required to join an industry leader in Union City, CA.
The successful Plumbing Project Manager / Plumbing Project Lead / HVAC Project Manager will come from a background in the construction industry, specifically in areas related to mechanical, plumbing, or HVAC systems.

Plumbing Project Manager / Plumbing Project Lead / HVAC Project Manager Responsibilities:
- Review contracts thoroughly and provide feedback to the Division Manager on contract value, scope of work, and terms and conditions.
- Confirm that the contract or purchase order is received and the project is finalized.
- Collaborate with field superintendents and estimating teams to provide labor breakdowns and facilitate labor tracking.
- Work with Project Administration to open construction projects into the company's accounting system.
- Develop and publish Design and Construction schedules, ensuring updates are made weekly.
- Create, present, and negotiate monthly progress billing to the client.
- Manage commodities, equipment, and subcontractor submittal processes.
- Procure and schedule required equipment and subcontractors for the project.
- Survey, update, and publish labor tracking and installation productivity to the field on a weekly basis.
- Conduct weekly construction team meetings and set “4-week” look-ahead production goals.
- Present monthly project updates, including the estimate-to-complete forecast and margin gain and fade, to the Division Manager.
- Manage Change Order Management and client relations at the job site.
- Handle final contractual obligations, including Punchlist, Start-up, and Commissioning activities.
Plumbing Project Manager Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager, directly overseeing projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Strong understanding of the mechanical construction business, particularly with design-build projects and life sciences.
- Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively to stay on top of tasks and deadlines.
- Must reside within 45 minutes of Union City, CA
