
Project Engineer / Project Manager required to join a global engineering company that work within the energy industry.
The successful Project Engineer / Project Manager will manage technical engineering projects within the energy sector, liaising with stakeholders at all levels, with direct responsibility for budgeting, personnel and project planning.
The Project Engineer / Project Manager will ideally have a power generation background and/or experience working within the power plant, oil & gas, energy, power stations, industries, mechanical engineering or similar. Full product training provided.

Project Engineer / Project Manager Role
- Work with customers, contractors, service partners, sales partners and other members of the team, to resolve technical escalations.
- Proactively provide the highest level of customer service and liaise closely with external and internal stakeholders.
- Provide pre-sales support to the sales team in the early identification, assessment, tracking and resolution of technical/engineering risk and management of those risks to margin.
- Continually searching for ways to improve business, to upgrade existing processes, deploy new initiatives, and recommend new solutions based on analysis and client trends.
- Ensure efficient processing and on time fulfillment of projects to planned due dates.
- Provide delivery project solutions and participate in project implementation and start-ups.
- Organise and control labour and sub-contractors as well as supervising equipment stock and tool maintenance.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites across the Midlands, North and North West of England.
Project Engineer / Project Manager Requirements
- Experience managing and supervising technical and/or engineering projects.
- Practical knowledge and experience working within the power plant, oil & gas, energy, power stations, mechanical engineering industries or similar would be highly desirable.
- Proven project management experience – Project Engineer, Project Manager, Contracts Engineer, Design Engineer, Project Coordinator or similar.
- Success in service business and/or sales management is advantageous.
- A technical engineering qualification, apprentice trained, HNC, HND or degree would be beneficial.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites across the Midlands, North and North West of England.
- Full UK driving license.
