A Project Engineer / Controls Engineer / Lead Engineer is required to join an industry leader in Manassas, VA.
The successful Project Engineer / Controls Engineer / Lead Engineer will come from a background of designing, engineering, and delivering advanced building automation and energy management systems, preferably with Delta Controls.

Project Engineer / Controls Engineer / Lead Engineer Responsibilities:
- Design and engineer building automation and energy management systems aligned with local energy codes and sustainability goals
- Analyze mechanical and control system performance across individual buildings and entire campuses
- Create project-specific programming solutions to maximize efficiency and system performance
- Build custom graphical front ends that enhance the user experience and operational insight
- Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery
- Program and troubleshoot DDC (Direct Digital Controls) and PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems to meet specifications
- Track project financials, including monthly audits and post-project reviews
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and help shape engineering standards
Project Engineer / Controls Engineer / Lead Engineer Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred; other fields welcome)
- Understanding of electronics and basic electrical circuit principles
- Familiarity with basic programming concepts
- Hands-on experience with mechanical systems
- Working knowledge of DDC theory and control applications
- Resides within 45 minutes of Manassas, VA
