Regional Sales Manager / Sales Engineer
Location: Pacific Northwest (Washington and Oregon)
Base Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 + generous commission structure
Employment Type: Full-Time
We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager / Sales Engineer to join a manufacturer of cutting tools and high-precision tool holding solutions used for CNC machining across the Pacific Northwest region, ideally you will be located within 1 hour from Seattle or Portland.
This role is ideal for someone with prior experience selling cutting tools, tool holders or machining solutions in the metalworking / metal cutting industry and is looking to further their career with a highly regarded global manufacturer and take ownership of an established, regional territory.
Regional Sales Manager / Sales Engineer Role:
• Work closely with distributors and partners to build strong relationships and drive growth across the Pacific Northwest region with a large focus on Seattle and Portland.
• Develop new business opportunities by prospecting, arranging meetings, and managing a sales pipeline through a CRM system.
• Meet with machine tool dealers and builders to discuss new products and services.
• Attend tradeshows to promote and demonstrate new and current tooling products.
• Manage and grow regional distributor performance and support territory strategy.
Regional Sales Manager / Sales Engineer Requirements
• Prior experience selling cutting tools, tool holders, machining solutions, or other CNC tooling in the metalworking industry is required.
• A technical background as a CNC machinist / CNC Programmer is highly advantageous.
• Located within 1 hour from either Seattle, WA or Portland, OR.
• Willingness to travel within your region to support distributors and customers.
• Driving license.
