Regional Sales Manager / CNC Sales Engineer
Location: Texas (Austin or Dallas)
Base Salary: $80,000 - $120,000
Employment Type: Full-Time
We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager / CNC Sales Engineer to join a manufacturer of high-precision cutting tools, tool holding systems, and engineered metal cutting solutions used in advanced CNC machining applications across Texas. This role is ideally based within 1 hour of Austin or Dallas.
Regional Sales Manager / CNC Sales Engineer Responsibilities:
- Drive sales growth across Texas by developing new business opportunities and managing relationships with end users, OEMs, and distribution partners.
- Execute a consultative sales approach to promote cutting tool and tooling system solutions that improve machining efficiency, productivity, and cost performance.
- Identify, prospect, and develop new accounts within the CNC machining and metalworking industries.
- Manage a regional sales pipeline using a CRM system from initial contact through to closing and account development.
- Support machine tool dealers and OEMs with product selection discussions and basic application guidance where required.
- Represent the company at industry trade shows and customer meetings across the region.
- Support regional strategy by working with distribution and channel partners to drive revenue growth.
Regional Sales Manager / CNC Sales Engineer Requirements:
- Proven experience in technical sales within cutting tools, metal cutting, tool holding systems, CNC machining, or related industrial manufacturing environments.
- Strong understanding of machining processes such as milling, turning, tooling selection, and general CNC manufacturing practices.
- CNC machinist or CNC programmer background highly advantageous but not essential.
- Demonstrated ability to build customer relationships and close sales in a technical or industrial environment.
- Located within 1 hour of Austin, TX or Dallas, TX.
- Willingness to travel throughout the Texas region.
- Valid driver’s license.
