Sales Engineer / Regional Sales Manager / OEM Sales Manager Role Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated Sales Engineer / Regional Sales Manager / OEM Sales Manager to join our growing team based in Houston. This role focuses on driving new business within the Houston area. The successful candidate will have a hunter mentality and be responsible for generating new opportunities, managing the sales process, and developing long-term relationships with key customers in the Oil & Gas, chemical, and power generation sectors.

Sales Engineer / Regional Sales Manager / OEM Sales Manager Role
- Cover the Houston area, proactively identifying and securing new OEM business opportunities.
- Oversee the full sales cycle, from initiating contact, scoping requirements, presenting solutions, and closing deals.
- Use CRM tools (including Salesforce) to track opportunities and manage follow-up actions effectively.
- Engage directly with engineering personnel, procurement teams, and key decision-makers at EPC firms, refineries, and power plants.
- Work with engineering and internal teams to provide accurate product quotes, technical solutions, and proposals tailored to customer needs.
- Attend trade shows, industry events, and client visits to maintain strong market visibility and generate leads.
Sales Engineer / Regional Sales Manager / OEM Sales Manager Requirements
- Experience in OEM sales is essential, with a preference for experience in pumps or similar technical products.
- Prior knowledge of rotating equipment in sectors like refining, chemical facilities, and power generation is strongly preferred.
- Candidates with distributor-only sales experience will not be considered.
- The ideal candidate will have a hunter mentality, with a proven track record of starting new business, tracking leads, and closing sales.
- Ability to travel up to 50% within the assigned territory (including occasional overnight trips).
- Excellent ability to build relationships with engineers, maintenance personnel, and procurement teams.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple opportunities and maintain an updated sales forecast.
- Deep understanding of Houston EPC firms, refineries, chemical facilities, and power plants. Familiarity with positive displacement pumps and engineered-to-order pump sales is a plus.
