Sales Engineer / Territory Sales Manager
Location: Midwest Region
Base Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 ($150,000 OTE)
Employment Type: Full-Time
We are seeking an experienced Sales Engineer / Territory Sales Manager to join a manufacturer of indexable cutting tools for the Aerospace, Defense, Mold & Die and Machine shop sectors to support growth in the Midwest region.
This role will involve securing new channels and distribution partnerships in the Midwest region which includes Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois and Wisconsin.
Sales Engineer / Territory Sales Manager Responsibilities
- Grow and manage distributor and channel partnerships to increase sales of indexable cutting tools.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, building a strong pipeline within aerospace, defense, mold & die, and machine shop sectors.
- Meet with customers in your territory to understand their needs, present solutions, and drive sales.
- Support distributors and customers with application guidance to ensure indexable tools are applied effectively for optimal performance.
- Develop and execute territory sales plans to meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Represent the company at industry events and trade shows to build relationships and uncover new opportunities.
Sales Engineer / Territory Sales Manager Requirements
- Prior experience selling cutting tools, preferably indexable cutting tools.
- Technical background in CNC machining, or manufacturing, with hands-on experience using cutting tools is highly advantageous.
- Proven ability to build and manage distribution channels and key relationships.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical tooling concepts.
- Located in Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois or Wisconsin and happy to travel to meet with customers in your defined territory.
