The Role
We’re seeking an experienced Senior Architect with exceptional technical leadership and a passion for design to join our client's growing firm in New York City. As an Architect of Record, you will have the opportunity to be a part of New York’s history, contributing to landmark projects and shaping the city’s future.
This role is ideal for an architect with strong experience in construction administration (CA) and exterior envelope systems. If you have a proven track record of leading teams on high-profile projects and want to make your mark on the city’s skyline, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities

Leading construction Administration, ensuring design integrity and technical excellence

Manage client relationships, project scope, schedules, and budgets

Coordinate with consultants across structural, MEP, life safety, and acoustics

Oversee the production of drawings, specifications, and BIM models
-
Resolve complex design and technical issues to produce buildable, code-compliant solutions

Review RFIs and submittals, and liaise with city and permitting officials

Mentor junior architects, fostering growth and a collaborative work environment
Requirements

Licensed Architect (current U.S. registration required)

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (Master’s preferred)

15+ years of professional experience with strong leadership and project management experience

Extensive experience in construction administration (CA), technical detailing, and project coordination

Proven expertise in large-scale complex projects such as healthcare, or cultural projects

Experience with façade systems, exterior envelope, and sustainable design practices

Strong knowledge of building codes, zoning, and materials
-
Proficiency in Revit (AutoCAD, Rhino, SketchUp, or other 3D software also a plus)

LEED or other sustainability certification preferred
