A Senior Architect / Project Lead is required for an in-studio role with a New York City architecture practice delivering complex urban projects across residential, mixed-use, commercial, adaptive reuse, cultural and institutional sectors.
This role is suited to an experienced architect who can lead large projects from concept to completion, guide project teams, coordinate consultants and represent the practice with clients, agencies and stakeholders. You will play a key role in shaping design direction, supporting technical decisions and mentoring emerging designers within a collaborative studio environment.

The Role:
- Lead design development, documentation and coordination for large mixed-use, residential and commercial projects.
- Guide internal project teams and ensure clarity, consistency and quality across deliverables.
- Coordinate structural, MEP, façade, interiors, landscape and specialist consultants.
- Represent the practice in client, stakeholder and agency meetings.
- Oversee zoning, consultant coordination and construction administration.
- Mentor junior team members and support a culture of learning, critique and shared development.
- Contribute to wider studio knowledge, design dialogue and team development.
- Support projects that have a meaningful impact on neighbourhoods, communities and urban environments.
Requirements:
- 10+ years’ experience delivering complex urban, mixed-use, residential or commercial projects.
- Strong Revit proficiency.
- Experience leading projects from concept through completion.
- Strong design, technical, coordination and documentation skills.
- Confident working with clients, consultants, agencies and multidisciplinary project teams.
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- Architectural licensure preferred or actively in progress.
- Current authorisation to work in the United States.
Desirable Experience:
- Rhino and Enscape experience.
- Experience across adaptive reuse, repositioning, cultural or institutional projects.
