Senior Technical Architect – Aviation

Location:             Chiswick, London
Salary:                  £50,000 – £55,000 (Dependent Upon Experience)

This is your chance to play a key role on one of the world’s most ambitious aviation projects, the expansion of Al Maktoum International Airport in Dubai.

You’ll join a highly respected international design studio known for delivering complex, large-scale infrastructure schemes. This is a senior technical position where your expertise will genuinely shape delivery of a landmark International Airport

We’re looking for an experienced aviation or large-scale infrastructure architect, someone confident leading technical packages, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and driving quality across fast-paced projects. If you enjoy solving complex design challenges and influencing teams through strong Revit capability, you’ll thrive here.

Package:
• £50,000 – £55,000 (Dependent Upon Experience)
• 25 days annual leave + bank holidays
• Hybrid working (2 days wfh / week)

Office: Hammersmith, West London
Hours: 9:00am – 6:00pm (Monday–Friday), Hybrid working (2 days wfh / week)

Duties:
• Lead & Deliver technical design packages across RIBA Stages 2–4
• Oversee BIM coordination and technical drawing production
• Coordinate with MEP, structural, fire, security and specialist consultants
• Act as technical lead for airport back-of-house environments
• Drive quality, compliance and programme delivery
• Mentor junior team members and support studio excellence

Requirements:
• 10+ years’ experience on large-scale aviation or infrastructure projects
• Proven delivery of complex back-of-house technical packages
• Advanced Revit skills are essential
• Strong multidisciplinary coordination experience (MEP, Structures, etc.)
• Confident communicator with leadership capability
• Highly organised and deadline-driven
