Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer required to join a global, leading engineering manufacturer.
The successful Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer will provide electrical and mechanical repair, fault finding, service, and maintenance on various compressed air systems including compressors, vacuum, and air filtration equipment at customer sites across the North West UK. Full manufacturer training will be provided.
The successful Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer candidate must have proven compressed air experience due to the high demand in new work. Compressor Engineers must be able to hit the ground running.

- £45,000–£50,000 depending on experience

Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer Role
- Provide electrical and mechanical repair, service, fault finding, and maintenance of compressed air systems, air dryers, vacuum pumps, blowers, filters, and other associated products at customer sites.
- Undertake planned and preventative maintenance, diagnostics, fault-finding, and troubleshooting of compressed air systems, chillers, condensers, nitrogen generators, and air filtration equipment.
- Maintain, repair, and install air compressors, vacuum pumps, blowers, dryers, filtration systems, and pneumatic equipment across the North West UK.
- Install compressed air systems into manufacturing, industrial, and commercial facilities.
- Liaise with various engineering departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Commutable to Manchester for part collections when required.
Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer Requirements
- Proven diagnostic skills on complex compressed air systems. Full product training provided.
- Previous experience as a Field Service Engineer, Service Engineer, Service Technician, Installation Engineer, Compressor Engineer within compressed air.
- Field service experience in compressed air systems, air dryers, vacuum pumps, blowers, filters, nitrogen generators, and associated compressed air equipment.
- Must have proven compressed air experience.
- Good working knowledge of three-phase electrics and controls is advantageous.
- Technical engineering qualification, apprentice training, F-Gas certification, or similar would be advantageous.
- Willingness to travel and commute to customer sites daily across the North West UK.
