A Service Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Representative / Building Systems Engineer is required to join an industry leader in Florida. The ideal candidate will reside in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, or Florida.

 

The successful Service Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Representative / Building Systems Engineer will come from a technical sales/service sales background and have previous experience in selling a range of BAS and HVAC controls to engineers, contractors, and owners.

Service Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Representative / Building Systems Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Offering consultative guidance on building automation and HVAC systems to engineers, contractors, and building owners.
  • Preparing estimates for control system hardware and installation based on project drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Collaborating closely with engineering and technical staff to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Leading industry presentations and educational seminars to inform and influence consultants, contractors, and building professionals.
  • Partnering with clients to define scope and pricing for service agreements, system upgrades, tenant fit-outs, and training initiatives.

 

Service Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Representative / Building Systems Engineer Requirements:

 

  • Exceptional verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong organisational and time management capabilities
  • Highly self-driven with the ability to operate independently without supervision
  • Competitive mindset with a strong drive to succeed
  • Reliable and dedicated work ethic
  • Familiarity with HVAC DDC control concepts, applications, and mechanical systems
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent professional experience
  • Background in HVAC, mechanical systems, and/or building automation
  • Proven experience in business-to-business (B2B) sales
  • Preferably resides in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, or Florida
