Job Title: Service Supervisor

Location: Williston, ND

Compensation: $36/hr - $65/hr + overtime + comprehensive benefits

 

We are seeking a Service Supervisor to lead and coordinate field service operations across a regional territory. This role combines technical leadership with operational management, overseeing technician scheduling, service delivery, safety compliance, customer relationships, and field performance.

 

The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience with gas compression systems, rotating equipment, and field service operations, while supporting commissioning, diagnostics, troubleshooting, repairs, and technician development across multiple sites.

 

Service Supervisor / Service Manager / Field Operations Supervisor Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate field technicians across assigned territories
  • Schedule service work to maximize efficiency and reduce response times
  • Support technician training, development, and major repair decisions
  • Monitor service performance, reporting, vehicle costs, and operational KPIs
  • Maintain compliance with HSE and company standards
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships while resolving service issues
  • Support commissioning, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair of gas compression and natural gas processing systems
  • Drive service quality, operational performance, and revenue targets
  • Manage staffing, performance, and employee development activities

 

Service Supervisor / Service Manager / Compression Supervisor Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Service Supervisor, Service Manager, Field Service Supervisor, Compression Supervisor, Senior Field Service Technician, Compressor Specialist, or similar
  • 15+ years of field service experience within gas compression or industrial equipment environments
  • Strong experience with gas compressors, engines, controls, commissioning, and production equipment
  • OEM certifications highly preferred including CAT, Ariel, and Waukesha platforms
  • Strong electrical and control panel troubleshooting experience (Murphy, Altronic, Allen Bradley)
  • Ability to read schematics, P&IDs, technical manuals, and diagnostics tools
  • Experience leading overhauls, startups, commissioning, and field service activities independently
  • Familiarity with CAT ET, GERP, emissions testing, laser alignment, and compressor performance analysis
  • Strong leadership, communication, and customer management skills
  • Valid driver's license required
