Structural Supervising Engineer – Nuclear Modifications
Location: Charlotte, NC
Salary: $160,000 – $180,000 + Bonus Opportunities
An exciting opportunity has opened for a Structural Supervising Engineer to take a leadership role in nuclear plant modification projects with a renowned global infrastructure company.
This is a chance to play a key role in shaping the future of energy with cutting-edge projects in nuclear power generation and renewable energy.
This is a leadership role overseeing a team whilst also building on your current experience within a strong team.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and design structural modifications for nuclear power plants.
- Supervise and mentor engineering teams, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Develop engineering reports, design drawings, and structural calculations for modification tasks.
- Review and evaluate codes, specifications, and construction documents for compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure technical accuracy and project efficiency.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
- 10+ years of experience in structural engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license and seismic design expertise.
- Proficiency in STAAD Pro, MathCAD, ANSYS, and SAP2000.
- Experience with nuclear modifications and Duke Energy projects is a plus.
