Service Engineer / Electrical Engineer / Service Technician to join an electrical engineering manufacturer, specialising in critical power equipment and UPS systems.

The successful Service Engineer / Electrical Engineer / Service Technician shall carry out installation, servicing, maintenance, commissioning and fault diagnosis of critical power equipment and uninterruptible power supplies / UPS Systems at customer sites & data centres across the South of the UK. Full product training provided.

The ideal Service Engineer / Electrical Engineer / Service Technician will ideally have electrical or electromechanical experience with a willingness to undergo practical and theoretical training, to progress and develop their engineering career.

The Service Engineer / Electrical Engineer / Service Technician role
Carry out installations, servicing, maintenance, fault diagnosis, and commissioning to uninterruptible power supplies, UPS Systems, critical power equipment, battery power units or associated power supply equipment.

Installation, repair and service of uninterruptible power systems and associated electrical equipment in a wide variety of commercial and industrial sites and data centres across the South of the UK.
Carry out preventative maintenance on the existing uninterruptible power supplies / UPS install base.
Set up and configure remote monitoring on uninterruptible power supplies / UPS software.
Provide technical support to customers and colleagues.
Liaise with various engineering departments.

The Service Engineer / Electrical Engineer / Service Technician Requirements

A willingness to undergo practical and theoretical training, to progress and develop engineering career.
Experience as a Service Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Installation Engineer, Service Technician, Field Service Engineer would be highly desirable.
Electronic / Electrical / Electromechanical Engineering experience is advantageous.
Full driving license (willing to travel and stay away when required).
A technical electrical / electronic / instrumentation qualification, apprentice trained, HNC, HND or degree would be advantageous.
Based in the South of the UK or willing to relocate.
