Verto People is recruiting for a senior technical leader to oversee the performance and reliability of a growing gas-fired generation portfolio.

This owner-side position suits someone who combines strong turbine knowledge with experience holding equipment suppliers and maintenance partners accountable. You’ll help bring new assets into operation and guide the decisions that keep them performing.

The role

• Oversee turbine service agreements, supplier performance and technical obligations.

• Lead reviews of plant reliability, outages and underperformance, driving corrective action.

• Provide technical oversight during commissioning, acceptance testing and major maintenance.

• Guide maintenance planning, critical spares and equipment reliability strategies.

• Support warranty claims, technical risk reviews and reporting to project stakeholders.

Your background

• At least 15 years in power generation asset management, plant engineering or reliability.

• Strong gas turbine experience and direct responsibility for administering long-term service agreements.

• Practical involvement in major outages, testing and warranty matters.

• An engineering degree or equivalent industry experience.

Battery storage and islanded generation experience would be advantageous. Travel includes extended site stays during commissioning and outages.
