Automation Sales Engineer - NE

Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Sales Executive required to join a distributor of electrical & industrial automation products. We are looking for a Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager with an electrical background, selling electrical, industrial automation, PLCs, Programmable Logic Controllers, variable speed drives, electrical control gear, or similar. An electrical wholesale background will also be considered.

The Sales Engineer / Sales Executive / Area Sales Manager must be based on patch and will be covering, Durham, Carlisle, Sunderland and surrounding areas.

£38,000 - £40,000 depending on experience

Role

Selling a range of electrical products, industrial automation products, including PLCs, Programmable Logic Controllers, variable speed drives, electrical control gear, etc Business development and account management

Able to follow, plan and execute both branch and nationwide sales strategies Customer visits

Covering Durham, Carlisle, Sunderland and surrounding areas

Requirements

Must have an electrical background – Knowledge of industrial automation, PLCs, Programmable Logic Controllers, variable speed drives, electrical control gear or similar would be beneficial Electrical wholesale background would be considered

Experience as a Sales Engineer, Area Sales Manager, Technical Sales Executive, or internal sales looking to step up into an external sale role

Must be based in Durham, Carlisle, Sunderland or surrounding areas

An electrical qualification would be beneficial
