Distribution Sales Manager / Distribution Sales Engineer / Distributor Sales Manager required to join a Global manufacturer within engineering and metrology.
We’re looking for a Sales Manager to manage and develop distributors within the UK, Ireland & Nordics countries. This will mainly be UK based with travel to Nordic regions when needed. This is a fully remote position, and therefore you can be based anywhere in the UK.
The successful Distribution Sales Manager / Distribution Sales Engineer / Distributor Sales Manager must have experience managing & developing distributors within a technical, industrial, engineering or metrology product range.
Knowledge of metrology equipment, including 3D measuring equipment, calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, probes, measuring instruments, surface testing equipment or similar would be advantageous. Alternative engineering products would be of particular interest.
Candidates already working for a distributor of metrology products would be of interest.
Package
Up to £55,000 depending on experience

Role
Take ownership of sales to distributors and end users within the UK, Ireland and Nordic countries
Working from home, covering UK wide with travel to Ireland and Nordic countries (adhoc)
Conducts regular business meetings with distributors to ensure goals are met
Price negotiations with customers
Gives technical product trainings and presentations to distributors
Develops distribution and dealer networks
Identifies new business opportunities and onboarding new customers
Encourages and drives distributors to participate in product trainings, programs and
sales training opportunities
Provides customer reports and analysis for management
Managing distributors of metrology equipment, including 3D measuring equipment, calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, probes, measuring instruments, surface testing equipment
Requirements
Proven experience managing distributor / dealer network / Distribution channels within a technical, industrial, engineering or metrology product range.
Candidates already working for a distributor of metrology products would be of interest
Experience as a Distribution Sales Manager / Distribution Sales Engineer / Distributor Sales Manager or similar
