HR Advisor / HR Associate / Human Resource Advisor / HR Officer / Human Resources Officer required to join a growing logistics company based in West Sussex.

The HR Advisor / HR Associate will be the first point of contact for line managers and employees dealing with employee relations and cases of change management.

This ideal candidate will have a strong background in employee relations including onboarding, grievances and disciplinaries and a good knowledge of employment legislation.

Up to £32,000 dependent on experience

  • Support Line management and employees being their first point of contact for HR advice and assistance.
  • Assist line managers with performance reviews, probation and performance development reviews.
  • Responsibility for conducting investigations, leavers interviews and providing advice for grievances/disciplinaries.
  • Manage a case load of employee relations providing support to management when needed.
  • The go-to person for new starters ensuring they have a positive onboarding process and all documentation is set up and complete on the HRIS.
  • Confidently manage short/long-term sickness cases. Conduct absence management meetings and liaise with the occupational health provider if necessary.
  • Proactively manage change/TUPE’S when necessary.
  • Produce HR related templates.
  • Assist with recruiting activities, maintenance of HR records and reporting.



Experience working as a HR Advisor / HR Associate / Human Resources Officer or similar

Strong experience with employee relation cases

CIPD Qualified / working towards or similar

Full UK driving licence would be advantageous

Must be commutable to West Sussex
