An Sales Representative / Sales Engineer / Territory Sales Manager is required to join a well-established and growing engineering distributor specialising in pumps and fluid handling solutions across key industrial markets.

 

This is a high-impact, field-based role covering the Houston region, offering the opportunity to take full ownership of a territory, build long-term customer relationships, and drive real revenue growth. Youll be working across industries including municipal, wastewater, food & beverage, and general industrial, selling into practical, application-led environments where your input directly influences results.

 

This role suits a driven, hands-on sales professional who is comfortable developing business from the ground up and thrives in a performance-led environment with strong earning potential.

 

Package

Base Salary: $80,000 $100,000 DOE
Uncapped Commission (realistic earnings over $200K+)

Sales Representative / Sales Engineer / Territory Sales Manager Role

Take ownership of the Houston territory, driving growth through proactive business development and strategic account expansion

Identify, target, and win new business opportunities across industrial plants, engineering firms, and end users

Develop strong, long-term relationships with customers across municipal, wastewater, food & beverage, and industrial sectors

Deliver consultative, solution-based sales of pump and fluid handling systems

Carry out regular site visits, technical discussions, and on-the-ground sales activity

Work closely with internal teams to support quotations, project delivery, and customer satisfaction

Build and manage a strong pipeline, with full autonomy to shape your territory and approach

 

Sales Representative / Sales Engineer / Territory Sales Manager Requirements

Proven experience in a Sales Engineer / Technical Sales / Area Sales Manager / Business Development role or similar

Strong background selling pumps (essential) into industrial or process markets

Experience within a distributor environment or multi-product portfolio is highly advantageous

Demonstrated ability to generate new business and build a territory from scratch

Comfortable operating in a field-based role, engaging directly with plants, engineers, and end users

Highly motivated, self-sufficient, and results-driven

Exposure to valves, compressors, or broader fluid handling systems is beneficial

Based in or willing to cover the Houston, Texas region
