Sales Representative / Outside Sales Account Manager / District Sales Manager – Michigan

A Sales Representative / Outside Sales Account Manager / District Sales Manager is required to join a well-established industrial manufacturer specializing in fluid filtration systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in outside sales, with a strong focus on territory management and business development, specifically within the industrial filtration or fluid handling sectors.

Sales Representative / Outside Sales Account Manager / District Sales Manager will ideally have knowledge of filtration systems, fluid handling products, or similar engineered solutions. Experience with fluid filtration systems or the fluid process industry will be highly beneficial, although we will also consider candidates with transferable industrial product knowledge. This role focuses on re-establishing and growing a territory in Michigan.

This is a senior sales role, concentrating on both account management and territory expansion. The successful candidate will be responsible for rebuilding an existing customer base and driving new business opportunities across the state of Michigan.

  • Total Compensation: $100,000 – $110,000

Sales Representative / Outside Sales Account Manager / District Sales Manager Role

  • Managing the Michigan territory, focusing on industrial clients within surface coating, food manufacturing, specialty chemicals, and industrial filtration sectors.

  • Full ownership of existing accounts and responsibility for business development to rebuild a declining territory.

  • Working with fluid filtration systems, fluid handling products, and related technical solutions.

  • Collaborating with internal teams (sales, engineering, applications) to drive business growth and maintain customer satisfaction.

  • Ability to travel efficiently within the territory, focusing on face-to-face customer engagement and relationship-building.

Sales Representative / Outside Sales Account Manager / District Sales Manager Requirements

  • At least 2+ years of outside sales experience in an industrial sales environment. Experience in business development and territory management is a plus.

  • Knowledge of filtration systems, fluid handling products, or similar industrial products. Willingness to learn new technical products is essential.

  • Proven ability to manage a territory, grow business, and re-establish customer relationships.

  • Strong background in account management, with the ability to develop and grow new business.

  • Must reside in or near Michigan, ideally in or around Detroit, but flexible with location within the state.

  • Experience with industrial filtration or fluid handling equipment is highly desirable, but we will also consider candidates from other industrial sectors with relevant experience.

  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a results-driven environment.
