Role - Senior Account Manager

Location - United States, Remote

Salary range - $140,000-$170,000 + 30% Bonus 

We are a exclusively partnering with a Series A funded company at the forefront of innovation in the life sciences and AI space, who are partnered with some of the industry’s leading pharmaceutical and biotechnology organizations. As a Senior Account Manager, you will play a key role in managing and growing a portfolio of enterprise accounts across the U.S., helping clients unlock the full potential of cutting-edge AI solutions to drive their drug discovery and research efforts.

This is a high-impact, quota-carrying role where you’ll be the primary point of contact for key accounts, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product adoption and expansion. With a focus on long-term relationship building, you will have the opportunity to shape strategic account plans, uncover new business opportunities, and drive the growth of your clients - all while contributing to the success of a fast-growing, venture-backed startup.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Ownership & Growth
    • Own and manage the full commercial lifecycle for a portfolio of enterprise pharmaceutical and biotech accounts.
    • Develop tailored account plans aligned to clients' research priorities, data strategies, and product roadmaps.
    • Identify and close upsell and cross-sell opportunities across the company's product offerings.
    • Collaborate with leadership, legal, and finance teams to negotiate contracts and licensing agreements.
  • Relationship Management
    • Build deep relationships with key stakeholders at director to VP level, including scientists, bioinformaticians, and procurement teams.
    • Act as a trusted advisor, understanding clients’ drug discovery pipelines, data needs, and competitive challenges.
    • Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to ensure ongoing alignment on strategic value and growth opportunities.
  • Product & Technical Engagement
    • Gain in-depth knowledge of the company's AI solutions to effectively articulate product value.
    • Partner with Customer Success and Product teams to ensure clients realize the full potential of their investment.
    • Act as the voice of the customer, providing feedback and feature requests to influence product roadmap decisions.
  • Pipeline & Revenue Reporting
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM data (opportunities, forecasts, and account strategies).
    • Forecast and report on expansion revenue with a high degree of accuracy.
    • Contribute to commercial strategy by sharing insights into market trends, competitive intelligence, and win/loss analysis.
