Manufacturing Engineer / Production Engineer / Continuous Improvement Engineer / Process Engineer to join a leading manufacturer based in Runcorn.
The Manufacturing Engineer / Production Engineer / Continuous Improvement Engineer / Process Engineer will be responsible for implementing, developing, and improving both equipment and procedures to increase efficiency.

Package
Up to £55,000 depending on experience
Pension scheme
23 days holiday plus bank holidays

Role
Implementing, developing, and improving both equipment and procedures to reduce line downtime and increase efficiency
Read and interpret engineering drawings
Use continuous improvements & lean manufacturing techniques – eg: FMEA, 5S, Six Sigma, 8D, Kaizen
Existing product re-engineering
Design new systems, equipment, and processes for the introduction of new products or the improvement of existing ones
Involvement in new product design
Maintain equipment tooling, jigs & fixtures, implementing TPM where appropriate
Improve manufacturing efficienciey
Working knowledge of Statistical Process Control techniques.
Liaise with various engineering / manufacturing environments
Based in Runcorn
37.5 hour per week, Early finish on Friday

Requirements
Proven experience as a Production Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, Continuous Improvement Engineer, Process Engineer or similar
Some production tooling / jig & fixtures design would be advantageous
Experience using continuous improvements & lean manufacturing techniques – eg: FMEA, 5S, Six Sigma, 8D, Kaizen
Apprentice trained, HNC, HND or Degree qualified in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, production engineering, or similar
Commutable to Runcorn
