Business Development Manager / Specification Sales Manager / Account Manager required to join a global leader in building automation and energy management solutions for commercial and industrial buildings.

The successful Business Development Manager / Specification Sales Manager / Account Manager will work under the direction of the Sales Director and in collaboration with the sales team to develop the growth of sales channels with all consultants in Texas.

The ideal Business Development Manager / Specification Sales Manager / Account Manager will have the ability to communicate clearly with consulting engineers and end users. Must have at least 3 years’ experience in a similar position.

Package & Location:

  • $100k - $130k

Business Development Manager / Specification Sales Manager / Account Manager Responsibilities:

  • Assist Regional Sales Managers and System Integrator Partners to achieve their sales quotas
  • Working with the Sales Channel to increase the sales of products, peripherals and solutions
  • Working with consulting engineers and end users to raise market awareness
  • Collaborate with RSM in evaluating project compatibility, evaluate if our products comply with Engineers specifications and strategize on how to change the current specification if necessary

 

Business Development Manager / Specification Sales Manager / Account Manager Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a business development manager or similar role
  •  Experience in building automation or HVAC or the controls industry
  • Willingness to travel throughout the state of Texas
  • Strong Presentation skills, proficient at using Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel
