An expanding tech company requires an IT Operations & Security Engineer to work within the already highly talented Infrastructure team based in Cheshire, supporting team members, delivery operations and projects to a high standard. My client is a globally recognised cybersecurity company, and looking for someone who is experience and focussed on security.

The IT Support Engineer / IT Operations Engineer / IT Security Engineer will ideally need to live in Cheshire or the surrounding area as the role is office based with some flexible working.

The IT Operation and Security Engineer / Cybersecurity Engineer Role

• Ensure all employees have sufficient access to do their role by managing users
• Assess network and security systems.
• Creating and maintaining an automated IT asset inventory system.
• Delivery of operation tasks, installation of technology, cable patching, configuration, and updates.

The IT Operation and Security Engineer / Cybersecurity Engineer Requirements

• Experience with a wide range of AWS services
• Hands on IT systems, architecture, implementation, and operations.
• Networking concept knowledge of switching, routing, firewalls, VPNs etc.
• Experience of coding in Python, PowerShell to support DevOps automation.

Desirable Requirements

• Fortigate, FortiSwitch, FortiAP,FortiAnalyzer and FortiClient EMS
• Mac
• Azure and GCP (Google Cloud Platform)
• Docker or Kubernetes

A flexible and collaborative approach is essential.
